People ask,

where are you from?

Often times, I don't want to admit that I'm from Korea. So always, I add,
"Oh, but I lived in States since I was in elementary school."

The best day for me is when people I've known one day retorts,
"Oh! I thought you were American!"

I've lived this life for several years.
But I can't deny that I'm Korean. First I look like Asian, and although I use good English, there is no doubt that I can be equalize that of native speak unless I live here 12 years more, which is very likely.

Second, there is no shame of living a life as Korean!
